The year-end party was held on Sunday, December 19th. Our fabulous members showed their talents, singing and dancing. We also played a guessing bingo lucky draw. Everyone had prizes. All of the prizes are made in Taiwan, which include world champion jams, world champion breads, world champion chocolates, products from members’ farm and so on.
Every participant also got a local food, Guabao, which is usually served at year end party in Taiwan’s traditional custom. The Guabao looks like a hungry tiger’s mouth bites port, and therefore it’s also called “tiger bite pig”, which is very similar to the pronunciation of “biting blessing” in Taiwanese. This is why Guabao is regarded as blessed food.
We invited the wife of Earth God to give Buabao to all. The wife of Earth God invited her good friend Santa Claus to come. Of course, Santa Claus brought more gifts. So that everyone was full of blessings and gifts, and had a great time!
